Performance Benchmarking of XSLT Processors

Performance benchmarks for various XSLT processors include the following:

• DataPower's XSLTMark is an application for benchmarking the performance of XSLT processors. Performance benchmarks for selected XSLT processors as of 2000-10-22, based on an extensive test suite, are now available. (2000-10-24)
  
  
• iterx.org has provided performance benchmarks for the subset of XSLT processors which can be used with Perl. (2000-10-24)
  
  
• Kevin Jones has published performance benchmarks for various pairs of XML parsers and XSLT processors. He also suggests how to configure one's Java runtime environment for optimum performance by Java-based XSLT processors. (2000-10-05)

These performance benchmarks may partly reflect the performance of the XML parsers with which these XSLT processors have been paired. In addition, the performance of XSLT processors may also reflect the programming languages in which they are written and their respective runtime or interpreter environments, if any.
